Hey There!
I’m Monica a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
First let me say this…
I see you! Whether you're just starting to think about having a family, knee-deep in fertility treatments, reading this in your favorite chair while your baby naps (for exactly 12 minutes), or bleary-eyed at 3 a.m., I’m glad you’re here.
Like you, I’ve felt the highs and lows of this journey, the hope, the heartbreak, the “why did I do this to myself?” moments. I’ve walked my own path through infertility treatments and motherhood. I have supported countless women navigating infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum life. You know, that magical time people romanticize as “the best days of your life”? Spoiler alert: It’s also a time when I found myself crying for no apparent reason.
Here’s the thing: Nothing!!!! prepared me for the sheer intensity of it all. The anxiety that crept in, the overwhelming sense of “Am I even doing this right?”, and the isolation that made me feel like I was on a deserted island.
Like so many of you, I assumed I could “push through” because, well, that’s what moms are supposed to do, right? We’re told to savor every moment and be grateful even when we haven’t slept in 48 hours, our hormones are doing the cha-cha, and we’re pretty sure our baby is plotting to skip every nap forever.
But here’s what I want you to know: It’s okay to admit this is hard. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed. It’s okay to ask for help. And most importantly you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Things can get better
I know because I’ve seen it happen and lived it myself.
I KNOW WHAT IT’S LIKE TO FEEL STUCK, OVERWHELMED, AND UNSURE HOW TO MOVE FORWARD
Whether you’re navigating infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or just trying to survive the mental load of motherhood, you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy with me isn’t about judgement or pressure it’s about real conversations, practical tools, and a space where YOU get to be heard, and supported. You deserve to feel like YOU again, and together, we’ll figure out how to make it happen.
As part of my work, I collaborate closely with patients undergoing treatment at IVF clinics, offering psychological evaluations, counseling, and support throughout their fertility journey. This work is deeply personal to me, not only because of my professional training, but also because I’ve been a patient myself. I understand the emotional intensity, complex decisions, and quiet courage it takes to walk this path. That lived experience fuels my passion for providing care that is grounded in empathy, empowerment, and clinical excellence.

Understanding Perinatal & Postpartum Mental Health
Bringing a baby into the world is life-changing, but it’s not always joyful. Many parents experience perinatal (during pregnancy) and postpartum (after birth) depression or anxiety. Knowing the signs can help you or a loved one get the support needed. You're not alone, and help is available.
